An aluminum table is a delicate piece of furniture in the same way as, for example, a wooden table, and it therefore requires that you take good care of the surface.

The advantage of aluminium, however, is that marks and stains can often be cleaned, where a wooden table will in some cases require the surface to be sanded down and finished.

We therefore recommend always using coasters and wiping up liquid, condensation and spillage immediately.

You are also always welcome to hand it in/send it to us - Then we clean it clean and free.

Solution 1

Always wipe liquids and spills off the table immediately. In most cases this is sufficient as long as the liquid is removed quickly.

Solution 2

If the liquid has been on the table for a long time and has penetrated the oxide layer, we recommend using one pH-neutral universal cleaner. It has a fat-dissolving effect and will typically be able to remove most marks and stains.

Solution 3

Note: Always test on the underside first and that, Mr. strong must be a last resort.

If liquid has been allowed to sit on the table for a long time, it can penetrate the oxide layer and leave behind shields that cannot be removed with ordinary cleaning.

In these cases we recommend using MR STRONG oven and grill cleaner. The product removes the existing oxide layer so that the aluminum surface can form a new and uniform oxide layer.

Important: The treatment should be carried out outdoors. Always wear gloves, avoid inhaling the product and follow the safety instructions on the packaging.

Procedure:

  1. Remove all loose liquid, dirt and dust from the table.
  2. Spray the product evenly so that the entire surface of the table is covered.
  3. Leave it on for 5-10 seconds.
  4. Dry thoroughly afterwards with a cloth, making sure that all residues of the product are removed.
  5. Rinse the table thoroughly with clean water.
  6. Wait at least one hour before using the table again, so that the surface has the opportunity to form a new oxide layer.

If the shields have not been removed after the first treatment or dark spots have appeared, the process must be repeated with a new, even layer.

We recommend that this treatment is only carried out as needed and no more than 1–2 times a year. When the treatment is done correctly, it can make the surface of the table appear fresh and uniform again.

ATTENTION As we do not know how the table has been handled or how the cleaning has been carried out, we disclaim all responsibility for this method. Mr. strong is a strong product and can damage the table, but with correct use make the surface as good as new. As can be seen in the picture below, as well as customer experience.

Cleaning step-by-step.

As we mentioned, aluminum is a delicate material, and if liquids are allowed to remain on the surface for a long time, they can penetrate the material and leave marks. Below you will find a step-by-step guide on how to remove such marks. In the example, the liquid has been allowed to sit for approx. 5 hours, so it has had plenty of time to penetrate. It is a slightly exaggerated example on purpose, as we want to show that even clear and stubborn marks can be removed with the right treatment. Remember, we always offer that you can hand in your table and we clean it clean and free for collection the next day.
